Lit Up Bright
circa 1993

Running home from my old elementary school, I ran through the trails. There was a large bumpy hill, and someone was mowing the grass there. I walk down the dead-end street past WA's house into the big field. There's a huge hill, enclosed by fences or trees on either side, with natural moguls of grass/ground covering it. There's someone mowing it on a riding-mower. Further on is the fenced-in path that leads to the outside.

I later find myself riding my old dirt-bike through a desolate construction-site (nothing there but dirt) to a likewise desolate highway (more dirt). I ride my bike down the street and arrive at an intersection. There's a gas station or party store on one corner. Riding my bike is the same as driving through the streets in "Pitch Black Everywhere". The station is all lit up bright. I think there's more...perhaps something about the expressway and a couple other people in cars or bikes, but the atmosphere remains the same.
